    In 2016, Kobrand acquired Joto Sake, an importer of artisanal Japanese sake that was founded in 2005. Kobrand hired Joto Sake’s management and has rapidly expanded the business. We are searching for a dynamic, highly motivated and goal-oriented Regional Sake Sales Manager, based in Miami, covering Florida, Texas, and other Southeastern and Southwest States. The position will be based in the Miami area. The Regional Sake Sales Manager will be responsible for direct sales in their local market, supporting and collaborating with the Kobrand sales force in their regions, training and working with our distributors’ sales people, and developing key account relationships in their territory.

    Responsibilities

    The duties and responsibilities of the position include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):

    • 70% focus on account management, local and regional, / 15% on educating and supporting the Kobrand regional sales teams, 10% focus on distributor interaction / 5% administrative.
    • Maintain a key account list and develop personal relationships with key buyers/owners and managers
    • Work with key distributor personnel to sell brands to on- and off-premise key accounts
    • Propose and conduct on-/off- premise promotional events
    • Conduct sake tastings, sake dinners, and training/educational seminars for consumers and trade
    • Review monthly account performance
    • Manage own quota of depletions, placements and qualitative efforts

    Qualifications

    • Minimum three year’s experience selling fine wine or sake in both on- and off-premise accounts
    • Must have proven track record in developing new business, managing existing accounts, and maintaining business relationships
    • Must have exceptional closing skills, strong verbal/written communication and organizational skills
    • Passion and knowledge of fine wine, mixology and gastronomy (CSW, WSET, or other similar credentials a plus)
    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Strong computer skills are a MUST (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
