  • Overview

    We are currently looking for a full-time Public Relations Coordinator to become part of our collaborative Public Relations and Social Media department. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work-ethic, excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Attention to details, the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a very fast-paced environment are essential. Experience in public relations, event planning, writing, media pitching is necessary, alongside interest to learn about the wine industry.


    The duties and responsibilities of the position include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):

    • Assist in managing the relations with key trade wine publications, including the score and review process for the Kobrand portfolio:
      • Coordinate what, when and to which critics, all wines from the portfolio should be submitted.
      • Track all scores and reviews and enter in appropriate databases in a timely fashion.
      • Communicate scores received via internal newsletter.
      • Prep score reports for yearly supplier review meetings.
    • Coordinate the competitions calendar and submissions for all brands from the portfolio.
    • Monitor coverage by clippings and compiling monthly and yearly reports.
    • Assist in various PR department events: presence and assistance for supplier press meetings
    • Assist in managing media inquiries and press requests for samples and information.
    • Support Department Director with various independent projects.
    • Support Social Media Manager with community management, and helping to create/source the copy and content for brand social channels.
    • Manage the master events tracker for company-wide events where our brands are participating.


    • Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • Experience in a PR agency is a plus.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
    • Creative problem solver with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to perform all administrative duties such as scheduling, filing, errands.
    • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Plus, Excel, Powerpoint.
    • Ability to follow through with projects while working under tight deadline.
    • Strong interest in learning about wines and the industry.
