Overview

Currently, we are searching for a dynamic, highly motivated and goal-oriented Human Resources Associate for our Westchester Office. This individual will be responsible for assisting the Director of Human Resources in all facets of company administration including payroll, benefit administration, recruitment and special projects.

Responsibilities

 

The duties and responsibilities of the position include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):

  • Assist in preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll
  • Maintain integrity and accuracy of HRIS database, including data entry into the ADP WorkForce Now system
  • Administer health and welfare plans (including enrollments, changes and terminations)
  • Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions
  • Assist with annual performance review and mid-year review processes
  • Handle all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding process
  • Provide monthly reports to Executive Team as needed
  • Handle ad hoc projects as warranted

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Human Resources or related field preferred
  • 2+ years experience in Human Resources Administration
  • Knowledge of general policies, practices and procedures related to Human Resources, Employee Relations, Staffing, Compensation and Benefits
  • Knowledge of ADP WorkForce Now preferred
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to develop & maintain professional relationships with both employees and management and to professionally and confidently interact with all levels within the organization
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize
